We are pleased to announce the Second Call for Book Chapters for the Encyclopedia of Higher Education, a comprehensive 13-volume scholarly reference work developed to document, analyze, and reimagine higher education systems worldwide.
The encyclopedia brings together global, comparative, and contextual perspectives on universities, academic systems, reforms, governance models, and pedagogical innovations, with a strong commitment to ensuring that voices from both the Global South and Global North are meaningfully represented.
The project is published by Apple Academic Press and is supported by Maaref University of Applied Sciences. The Editor-in-Chief of the Encyclopedia is Dr. Mustafa Kayyali, who oversees the academic direction, editorial process, and global coordination of contributors and reviewers.
Progress so far: we have received 300 full chapters and nearly 400 abstracts.
